I’m a teacher, military wife, and mama of three amazing kiddos who keep life loud, busy, and full of joy. Being married to a man in the military has taken our family on some incredible adventures — we’ve lived on both coasts and even overseas! Every move has shaped who I am, both in life and in the classroom.
Teaching isn’t just my job — it’s my creative outlet.
I’ve taught in K–4 classrooms, but 4th grade has truly stolen my heart. There’s just something magical about that age. They’re old enough for big ideas but still young enough to get wildly excited about themed days, holiday celebrations, and a little extra sparkle in their learning.
And let’s be honest… I love going over the top.
Give me a theme? I’m all in.

I believe learning should feel exciting, meaningful, and memorable. I love turning standards into experiences — creating lessons that feel less like “work” and more like something students can’t wait to dive into. Sure, it can be a little stressful pulling it all together (hello, organized chaos!), but seeing those lit-up faces when it all clicks? Worth it. Every. Single. Time.
