Hello! My name is Katlyn and I’m the creator of Smarty Prints Teaching. I’m a mother of two little boys who love ALL things superhero. I’m a married to my own personal superhero. He works for the USN by day and is CEO of Smarty Prints Teaching by night (or so he calls himself).
I’ve been teaching for about 8 years and have LOVED every minute of it (or most of them). The military has brought a lot of adventure into our lives and teaching in many different states, schools, and grades has been one amazing adventure. I’ve taught in two different states and in both public and private schools. I’ve hopped around in multiple grades and have had the pleasure of teaching grades from 1st-4th.
I LOVE all things crafty. Creating fun and engaging lessons is one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy teaching THEME weeks and have been told that I go a little overboard, but I believe the kiddos appreciate the extra effort and fun. I’m a little bit of a neat freak, so ORGANIZATION is another obsession of mine. I have a container and label for just about everything.
